Pockin' on the Bayou 2026

Please join us for our annual Pockin' on the Bayou Easter Festival! Join us on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at the town square! The agenda is as follows:

7:00 am- Run/Walk Registration at Unity Park
8:00 am- Run/Walk
10:00 am- Opening Ceremonies at the Town Square
10:00 am- Egg Pockin' Registration begins
10:30 am- Egg Hunts begin
11:00 am- Spoon Race
11:30 am- Easter Bonnet Contest
12:00 pm- Crawfish Eating Contest
12:30 pm- Boudin Eating Contest
1:00 pm- Egg Toss
2:00 pm- Children's Pockin' Contest
2:00 pm- Chicken & Guinea Egg Pockin' Contest
4:00 pm- Pirogue Races- Bayou Rouge in front of St. Mary's
4:00 pm- following the pirogue races, the duck races will commence!

Easter Bonnet Contest

All ages are invited to join us for our Easter Bonnet Contest at our Pockin' on the Bayou Easter Festival! It starts at 11:30 am, and the categories are as follows:

- 0-11 months

- 1 year-23 months

- 2 years- 5 years

- 6 years-15 years

-16 years and up

Easter Hat Contest

All ages are invited to join us for our Easter Hat Contest at our Pockin' on the Bayou Easter Festival! It starts at 11:30 am, and the categories are as follows:
